Update the red day list in SuperOffice CRM Onsite

If you need to include some other days or if you want to get an updated list of the red days, but you cannot upgrade it is possible to import them manually into your SuperOffice CRM. To do it please follow the steps below:

  1. Update the file with your red days or download this file.

  2. Move the file with the updated red days to the SuperOffice server installation Init folder. Replace the old I_RLDay.imp file with the one you have created or downloaded.

  3. Make sure that the SoTables.ini (2) file can be found in SuperOffice\Server (1) folder and that it has a section [UpdateRedLetterDays] AA=C:\program files\superoffice\server\Init\I_RLDay.imp (3).

  4. Start DBSetup.exe, select Load or re-load the initial data (1) from the drop-down list select the UpdateRedLetterDays (3) then the correct ODBC source as Target Database (3) and click Start (4)This will truncate the existing red letter days from the database table and import the new values. That means that all the holidays/red days that might have been added manually before will be deleted and they will be not added again if they do not exist in the new file.

Note!

1. SuperOffice version 8.1 and higher use a continuous database development method, which uses a different approach for importing .imp files. We recommend contacting a SuperOffice consultant or partner if you need to make a change to the SuperOffice database. The consultant service involves a fee.

2. We performing a backup before making any change directly in the database. This FAQ explains how to do it.

Update the red day list in SuperOffice Service

  2. Click on the Time frame (1) tab and in the field of Holidays (day/month) (2) include the days that SuperOffice Service would treat as holidays. Click Ok (3) to save it.

  3. Repeat the same steps on other priorities if you need to update the whole SuperOffice Service solution.
